Abstract

There are so many different varieties of vegetables in Indonesia that the sorting procedure presents difficulties. In an effort to expedite the introduction of smart farming in Indonesia, more agricultural assistance techniques will be created. Utilizing the Naive Bayes algorithm is one way that may be used to advance agriculture in Indonesia. Image processing consists of converting RGB images to grayscale images, segmenting images using the thresholding method, collecting image features based on the HSV average value and object area, and classifying pictures using the Naive Bayes algorithm. This research seeks to use image processing technologies to agricultural products, particularly vegetables. The system is comprised of a single picture captured by a digital camera. There were eight varieties of vegetables employed for the picture data, with a total of eighty consisting of 64 training data and 16 test data. Spinach, green chilies, red chilies, chayote, cucumber, eggplant, tomatoes, and carrots were the vegetables categorized. The categorization findings indicate that 87.5 % of the test values produced using this approach are accurate. This study demonstrates that the Naive Bayes method has a high degree of accuracy for the categorization of vegetables based on image processing. It is anticipated that the findings of this study would promote the implementation of smart farming 4.0 in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract— People's shopping behavior has undergone many changes after the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people have switched to using the marketplace to make buying and selling transactions. The payment process in the marketplace is relatively easy, especially when using a credit card. The increase in demand for credit must be addressed better by financial providers to minimize bad loans. The best thing in minimizing bad credit is to be more selective in choosing credit customers. Data mining is a field that can study old data to become new knowledge in the future. In data mining, the classification of bad credit customers is mostly done. One of the algorithms that excels in handling credit approval datasets is C45. The C45 model is widely used because it has an output decision tree that is easier to understand in human language. The number of data attributes can affect the performance of the algorithm. Feature selection is a form of attribute reduction to improve data quality and improve classification algorithm performance. Gain ratio is the development of information gain and is the best feature selection model and is widely used by researchers. This study performs a classification using C45 and uses a gain ratio for the selection of credit approval data features. By using the gain ratio, the accuracy of the C45 classification algorithm increased from the previous 94.12% to 95.29%.

Abstract

Transportation of goods using trucks is an irreplaceable method. However, it is undeniable that the truck-based method of transporting goods often attracts controversies, such as over-loading and products containing hazardous chemicals. This makes the need for automation of loading goods to trucks so that intentional or unintentional errors such as overloading and damage caused when an accident occurs in the process of loading chemical goods can be minimized. Of the four stages proposed in the automation process, namely (1) Trucks enter the cargo loading area, (2) Measurement of the volume or capacity of the vessel, (3) Calculation of the ideal arrangement of products on the vessel, and (4) The process of loading goods using a robotic devices. This article contains the design process for measuring the volume or capacity of the vessel. The measurement process is carried out using a plus (+) laser module and the steps taken in the measurement process are scanning the vessel that is highlighted using the laser module at several angles using a camera and calculating the length, width, and height of the body using trigonometric formulas. With the automation of loading goods, it is hoped that human intervention in the loading and unloading process can be eliminated so that errors that may occur can be minimized.

Abstract

Abstract—Pharmacy service is one of the activities at the puskesmas (Public Health Center) that supports quality health services. One of the pharmaceutical activities is the storage of drugs and vaccines. The drug and vaccine storage room pays great attention to conditions, temperature sanitation, light, humidity, ventilation, to ensure product quality and staff safety. Most of the drugs in the puskesmas should be stored at room temperature between 18-28°C and air humidity 40% - 60%. The monitoring system built uses DHT22 as a room temperature and humidity detector. The sensor output is connected to the NodeMCU ESP8266 which acts as a microcontroller. While the control system uses a relay module as a liaison for the AC remote control and as an automatic switch. The room temperature and humidity control test is carried out using an existing air conditioner for the power on/off and temperature up/down functions. In addition, testing of room temperature and humidity control uses 2 different AC brands from 2 rooms. The test was carried out in the drug and vaccine storage room at the Pudak Payung Public Health Center. The test results show that the sensor can record data accurately and can be integrated with the transceiver device properly. Sending sensor data to the database has an average delay at each node of 21 seconds and sending sensor data to the database has good data loss quality, namely 9.68% for the vaccine room node, 13.4% for the medicine room, and the average temperature and humidity. Vaccine room is 24°C and 60%, while in Medicine room is 26°C and 50%. And the average temperature and humidity in the Vaccine room were 24°C and 60%, while in the Medicine room it was 26°C and 50%. Abstract

Currently, there are many small business outlets that have opened branches in many places. With the spread of outlets that are far apart, it becomes a problem for the owner to be in a certain place on a display board that is installed at a height in each of his outlets. Display boards that are commonly used as promotional media and usually show product prices/interesting information are running text boards. In some studies there are those who make ESP as an access point, so that it can only be accessed within the range of the access point. So it cannot be accessed remotely. To facilitate this information, in this study, we designed an internet-based mobile text information system using the ESP32 Microcontroller and the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol, as well as a display board (DMD LED Panel P10). By using an android-based mobile device that is owned by almost everyone and then equipped with the MQTT application, it is hoped that information will no longer be constrained by distance and the absence of a computer device, as well as the limited number of computer operators.

Abstract

Many papers discuss the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control simulation "Perturb and Observe" (P&O), while its realization and practice in control systems remains a major challenge. The purpose of this research to study experimentally by optimizing wind turbines PMSG connected to DC-DC converter (Boost) and resistive load. The proposed MPPT P&O control algorithm modification will be analyzed by comparing with the control method without MPPT P&O at various wind speeds. The 400 WP wind power generation system uses a boost converter simulated in MATLAB/Simulink to analyze the performance of the proposed control algorithm. Modified MPPT P&O control Wind Turbine system with 3 m/s – 7 m/s speed variation at 20 ohm to 60 ohm load, wind turbine power has been successfully improved by an average of 11.868% compared to Wind Turbines that are not installed MPPT P&O. Therefore, MPPT P&O is very suitable to be applied at low average wind speeds.

Abstract

Data center is a vital location that must be managed. The room contains central devices that are essential for operational continuity of the information system. Like the PT Pamapersada Nusantara data center, this room needs to be maintained according to standards. One thing that needs to be maintained is temperature, humidity, and electricity because they have a direct impact on IT equipment and can be potentially fatal if they are not in standard conditions. Meanwhile, the data center being researched uses manual checks for temperature, humidity, and electrical power supply. The problem is the inconsistency of the administrator in documenting these parameters and the lack of responsiveness of repairs if an anomaly occurs in the parameter value, because the data is not real time. This research aims to build a monitoring system for monitoring temperature, humidity, and power outage at the PT Pamapersada Nusantara data center which provides direct notifications to administrators. Current similar studies generally do not include the sensor location factor which is essential. The sensor installation is not randomly placed in the room, nor in the hot aisle or in the cold aisle, but in the server rack so that the temperature and humidity truly represent the surroundings of the device as ASHRAE recommend. Referring to ASHRAE, the standard temperature is 18° C - 27° C while the humidity is 20% - 60%. This research starts from a needs analysis through a survey, followed by equipment design, equipment testing by comparing with manual measuring tools. ESP8266 and DHT22 sensors are used, telegram as system output in the form of notifications. Notifications are sent when the temperature and humidity values are not in standard conditions, they are sent every day at 07.00 and 15.00, and they are sent if there is 5% increasing or decreasing values. The results show that the system successfully sends a notification on telegram when the conditions are met. Tests using comparisons with other measuring instruments also show a deviation of values below 2%. Measurements on the server rack show varying value depending on the occupancy of the rack and its position against the air conditioner
